Synopsis

This film documents the expedition of one of the biggest canyons in the world. The Chamje Khola canyon is located right in the heart of the Nepalese Himalayas, between the Annapurnas (8091m) and Manaslu (8163m) mountains. The Himalayan Canyon Team, a French association, has explored over 30 canyons there since 2004, but waited until 2011 to face the monster that is the Chamje Khola. The final expedition required 5 days of effort, at high and snowy altitudes of 2300m, for a 7km hike across the canyon. Led by Rodolphe Sturm, the team prepared perfectly for the challenge, confronting severe obstacles, and forming great chemistry between these strong personalities.
